Fear. We all have it. A LOT of it what with the quality of existence lately. But there are universal fears in the human experience.

One of those fears is hearing the word “cancer”, no matter what kind of cancer or how simple and safe the procedure is. When you hear the word you kind of freeze. I knew it wasn’t bad because my wife was sitting right next to me and she immediately gave me “This is nothing to worry about.” Which helped immediately. But…you still freeze.
I’m having a MOHS surgery on some skin cancer on my face this morning…possibly while you’re reading this. I’m not super worried. Except of course for the fact that I am. Are they gonna get it all? How much is this gonna cost us? Will I end up looking like an extra in a slasher flick for Halloween?
Everything will be fine. I’m staying positive and I’ll update with sketches on Sunday. But there is one thing that we found out in this process that terrifies anyone who has ever lived in Atlanta…
…”your procedure is in Buckhead at 9am”.
Have a good weekend, everybody. Make sure you’re registered to vote.

Hope the procedure went really well and recovery isn’t too tough.
