So this is not the Randomly Drawn feature that I usually do on Wednesdays. I got bunched up…but in a good way? I have so many little ideas that it became like the Three Stooges coming through a door…all at once and stuck all of them in the frame. So I thought I’d give you a look at something I haven’t shared yet that I’ve been working on.
Since I decided to do some conventions (still applying and waiting to hear from at least one) I thought about what I have to offer. I have the postcards and stickers that are all available here on the website, and my book of course. But what else can I do? Why…original art! So I started doing little pieces that are basically the drawings I do in my sketchbooks but nicer. Little bits of pop culture and dinosaurs and whatever else I feel like throwing in. Here are a few examples.
Just some smaller pieces to offer at a smaller price point and people get a nice work of original art. I’m a big fan of people doing that in most forms. I really enjoyed doing the clothesline sale at Zoo Atlanta during the Art Gone Wild event (until they turned it into JUST that). I may try to get some larger pieces done. We’ll see. I have a lot to learn and eager to get to it!
