Yet again, I’m not super happy with the result but I feel it’s important to keep up with the practice! This week’s prompts were “pencil” and “alive”. A simple interpretation but I’m working on a lot of different stuff!
Weekly disclaimer/explanation: For those new and/or unfamiliar with my #OnePanelVSS, it is purely a writing exercise. Like sketching for your prose muscles. Use the image to come up with whatever you think is happening. No need to use my prompt words in the writing. But I would love to see what you come up with, so please tag me on social media! (I’m paintmonkeyart on Bluesky and Instagram and Paintmonkey Studios on Facebook.)
Happy Labor Day, everybody! Know that the reason we have it is not because it was given willingly…it was fought for by the workers. Corporations will take EVERYTHING from us (and are actively trying). Enjoy the day, but keep fighting them.
