It’s finally time to make it website official! I have a release date for my book! September 8th, 2025 The Ghastly Crook Richies: An Alphabet of Karmic Consequences will hit stores in all it’s whimsical glory.
Just as a reminder, this is my rhyming alphabet of rich people deaths! I took the idea from The Gashlycrumb Tinies by Edward Gorey and instead of adorable little Victorian children meeting their ends in grisly situations…I made it into rhymes about the 1%ers punching their tickets through their own hubristic ways. (I am GENUINELY surprised that “hubristic” did not set off the autocorrect alarm. Huh. Learn something every day.)
It’s been exciting to see my work on the internet but most especially I was excited to finally see it go up on Bookshop.org and you can preorder it HERE. Bookshop lets you direct the proceeds to your favorite local book store and I just think that’s very cool. They also have a wonderful local store finder on the site so if you are looking for a new store it is a great resource!
Now for the Paintmonkey club secret! If you read about my book here, you will find out that I will start my sales of The Ghastly Crook Richies two weeks early on August 25th! Unfortunately, I can’t compete with the bug guys shipping or sales on the book…BUT I will sign them, doodle in them, and send you some extra Paintmonkey stuff! So I think it works out!
