I know I keep knocking all things “ai”…but I’m not gonna stop until…much like this cartoon…I’ve hacked it to it’s inevitable death. (I absolutely refuse to acknowledge it as credible even in typed form which is why I never capitalize it. Sorry to any of my readers who may confuse it for the Japanese word for “love”.)
We know the use of ai is incredibly destructive to the human brain and most likely contributing HEAVILY to early dementia in people. There have been studies about cognitive decline in people who use it regularly and that leads to the thought…what are we gonna do in the future when these users become drooling husks? Are the billionaires gonna form “care centers” for the people they have destroyed with this idiotic technology? (Haha. Good one, PM.) If they do they will only be available for a premium subscription fee. But this week, there has been a new(ish) thing about these companies that want to ruin humanity.
Several articles have reported that most if not all companies at the “forefront of ai”…don’t make ANY money. In fact they lose billions more than they take in. To the point that the obvious question being screamed into our faces…”WHAT ARE THEY GETTING OUT OF THIS FORCED ACCEPTANCE?”. Not only do they obviously have some nefarious plan to use it against us in the future when the ridiculous tech may actually work…but they can’t stand the idea of being separated from their precious monies NOW. They genuinely think taxpayers should bail them out in the meantime for their own companies failures. As always it’s “socialism” if it helps the working class, but it’s “just giving capitalism a little boost” when they get pulled out of their self made fiery morass.
Technology is why humans are where they are in the world today. But this new breed of “tech wizard leaders” have built themselves purely out of PR. Like Thomas Edisons on ketamine, they have created an image of themselves as the smartest people on the planet while being so mind numbingly mediocre they would be ignored completely if it weren’t for the large scale destruction they create. “Artificial intelligence” is their way of proving how smart they are…when all they have done is steal actual human accomplishment and sell it back to the rubes as “convenience”.
I’ve talked about it before but the Luddites were NOT against technology. They were against the jackasses in charge of the companies USING the technology to displace and de-value the professions. They were against the workers being replaced by machinery and crushing families and communities into poverty. But since the merchants and the Crown “won” they controlled the narrative and sold the idea that the Luddites were just “technology hating savages”. I have learned the value of computers and the art that can be created with these tools. Ai is not a tool. Ai is not even technology. It is a lie covering for the very worst among us on the planet. Don’t use it. It makes you stupid.
I am probably being scanned by ai filters right now. Apparently it was decided recently that anyone opposing this corrupt administration and it’s jack booted forces are now “terrorists”. To hell with that. To hell with them. Long live Ned Ludd!
