I had such a fun day yesterday! I am super pleased with both of today’s cartoons for you! That’s right…you’re getting a Two-fer umm…Wednesday, I guess?
First up…I had my annual “4th of July Robby Viewing” of Jaws this past weekend. Robby was a great friend and a super important part of my confidence growth as an artist and now as a writer. He made me laugh like very few could. Robby was a teacher. One day on Facebook a group of us completely re-wrote Jaws so that the sharks were replaced by middle school children (yes, including the USS Indianapolis speech). Robby has been gone nearly six years but he still helps with ideas!
So we all agree Mitch McConnell is dead, yeah? Or at the VERY least…a carrot. He hasn’t made an appearance in well over a month after he was “found unresponsive and was given CPR”. According to a trusted source who absolutely does not sugarcoat medical truth says basically that CPR is a violent action and most of the people who survive it are the young and/or healthy. McConnell is neither of these. CPR shatters ribs on a regular basis. He was not strong enough to be in good shape after that.
The popular rumor is that he is brain dead and they are keeping him alive on machines to gain some sort of political advantage. This seems appropriate from someone who spent a lifetime hurting others for personal gain. No family cares. His wife was sent to China on a “diplomatic business mission”…THREE DAYS AFTER HE WAS HOSPITALIZED. My wife would pull a doctor’s spine out like the Predator if they got in her way to see me in the hospital. Mitch will leave this earth worse than he found it and no one will mourn him. A fitting tribute.
