Friday Thoughts (July, 17, 2026)

July 17, 2026

Been thinking about astrology this week. I am not one to put stock into the woo-woo. I read horoscopes for funsies, but that’s about it. (ARE those astrology?) This week is weird, though.

A French astrologer named André Barbault (1921-2019) was known for making predictions. He accurately predicted the 2020 Covid pandemic by finding astro-patterns and seeing where the planets were for such events as the Black Plague and the 1918 Flu epidemic.

So that brings us to “Barbault’s basket” which is basically 4 or 5 planets (I can’t decide. I’ve seen both in different articles) are aligned this week. This results in what is being referred to as a “Great Cosmic Reset” or some variation. I tried reading the specifics but they made no sense and so I was a bit skeptical, of course. But then…I woke up to the death of Lindsey Graham on Sunday. Combining that with the alleged brain “kaput” of Mitch McConnell…let’s just say I have hopes leading up to Sunday (which I believe is the last day of the celestial event). That’s not to say if something big doesn’t happen then this thing isn’t happening. It just means there’s a shift in the universe. I suppose it depends on us to guide the direction.

Literal would be nice, too.

So, that’s what I’ve been thinking about this week. That and how much ICE sucks and Tom Homan’s head looks like a sweat covered fatty glazed ham. To hell with these monsters. Let’s make the prediction come true on our own. Have a good and safe weekend and fingers crossed for “interesting” events.
