Sketch Sunday (Oct. 11, 2026)

October 11, 2026

Have I mentioned my sketchbooks act as a journal and also as catharsis for me?

So, as per usual the idiots in charge have spent the week doing stupid stuff and annoying me. One of the largest is announcing they are going to LIVESTREAM AN EXECUTION BY FIRING SQUAD. Everybody knows this is not meant to serve as a “deterrent”. Everyone knows the US’s ideas on “punishment” are the most punitive in the world. We do it for profit, for god’s sake! Noooo…this is meant for we, the people. The loudmouths who never fall for their unmitigated bullsh*t. The ones who oppose them at every single turn. “Get in line, or we’ll shoot you on tv in front of your family, too.” Still not falling for it, Keggsy.

But the amount of bootlicking psychopaths who have been popping up and screaming “at’ll learn ’em!” is staggering. I have never been able to understand the thought processes of these dim little bulbs. And then I had an idea…

Ballpoint cartoon on newsprint of a man in a maga hat slurping down a gallon of paint,
Not the first…sadly won’t be the last.

As someone who engages with political pages on social media, I get a lot of reaction videos to this moron. Jake Lang. Far right “provocateur” (although I would bet folding cash money his dumb ass couldn’t come within 4 country miles of spelling it correctly) and man who got his ass whooped by Spider-Man in Minneapolis. It is beautiful. And I realized I hadn’t drawn his stupid looking mug yet. So here he is in his natural habit…crying in a pair of soiled pants.

Also, I guess those ankle monitors are just…useless?

And finally…silly. I was considering drawing at least one of Casper’s…brothers? Roommates? What the hell are those other ghosts? I believe they’re referred to as The Ghostly Trio in the old Harvey comics. The movie made the two thin ones more distinctive (in the comics version, they all kinda had the same head. Even the fat one.) Anyways, I was gonna draw them as more scary ghosts for Randomly Drawn, but I always start by getting a feel for the original design. This was as far as I got. LOL!

Probably thinking “man…those guys above me SUUUUUUCK”.

And that concludes this week’s peek inside the artist’s mind. I hope you stayed safe this weekend (especially if you were in the path of Isaias).
